The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has sealed a property belonging to the former governor of Kano State Rabiu Kwankwaso in the state.
The property was sealed following a petition by a lawyer Mustapha Danjuma that Kwankwaso received contribution of N70 million from each of 44 local government councils in Kano State.
The said contribution totalled N3.08 billion, the petition read.
The amount was allegedly channelled towards his presidential primary in 2015.
