Super TV CEO: Police Release Lekki Apartment Operator On Bail

Police in Lagos have released on bail Nkechi Mogbo who leased the service apartment to Chidinma Ojukwu, the suspect in the murder of the chief executive officer of Super TV Usifo Ataga.

Until Ojukwu’s arrest, Mogbo had been in police custody after investigation showed that she operated the service apartment where the University of Lagos undergraduate allegedly killed Mr Ataga.

Lagos police commissioner Hakeem Odumosu told City Round on Friday that the Mogbo was released on bail following Ojukwu’s statement which appeared not to have implicated her.

Mr Odumosu said, “Mrs Nkechi Mogbo, who leased the flat from the property owner and used it for a service apartment, has been released on bail.”

It was gathered that Mogbo returned to Nigeria after studying abroad. On her return, she started the business of property letting.
