Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has confirmed blocking colleague Mercy Aigbe on Instagram.
The 43-year-old confirmed this in a post on Friday to celebrate Mercy’s son Juwon Gentry on his 11th birthday.
“Happy birthday to my darling Jboy, wishing you many more years in great health, more wisdom & knowledge,” she began her message.
Congratulating the boy’s mother, she wrote “Mercy, God bless you. Chai we don block ourselves. To come unblock wa di ogun ba yi (has become war). We can’t find ourselves on the block list.”
Addressing Juwon’s father, Iyabo said “Larry Gentry God bless you too sir.”
Responding, Mercy wrote in the comment section of Iyabo’s post “I know right. Thanks babe. God bless you.”
Mercy’s ability to respond to Iyabo’s post shows the block has been removed.
Check, however, shows that Mercy was following Iyabo as at press time while the latter was yet to resume following her colleague.
Although the two women carry on as friends in public and their daughters Priscilla and Michelle are considered good friends, there is a constant competition to outdo each other.
The cold war between them seemingly came to an end on Saturday at the wedding of stylist Toyin Lawani.
Toyin Abraham is believed to have played a major role in the reconciliation.
Iyabo and Mercy both shared pictures they took at the wedding on Instagram.
