Former Miss Nigeria Helen Prest-Ajayi has celebrated her deceased partner, the founder of First Foundation Medical Centre, Dr Tosin Ajayi, on Father’s Day 2021.
Prest-Ajayi thanked the late medical doctor in an Instagram post on Sunday of every thoughtful thing he did.
She wrote, “Remembering a phenomenal father. Thank you for every thoughtful thing you did. #happyfathersday.”
Ajayi died at St Nicholas Hospital, Lagos on April 26, 2020.
He was buried 10 months after his death. The delay was caused by a legal battle between his estranged wife Yemisi, her five children and Prest-Ajayi.
Ajayi got married to Yemisi, a retired chief nursing officer with the Lagos State Government, more than four decades ago but the couple separated after 23 years.
He subsequently went into a relationship with the ex-beauty queen, and the two had a daughter together.
