A fuel-laden tanker on Friday engulfed in flames at the Otedola Bridge around the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Emergency responders have put out the fire with no casualties recorded as of press time.
The incident comes days after the sector commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos State Command, Olusegun Ogungbemide, said there are no demon, witch or wizard at the Otedola Bridge, but that reckless drivers and expired trucks were responsible for the incessant crashes around the bridge.
Road users have been advised to avoid the axis as the incident has caused gridlock leaving motorists stranded.
