UPDATE: 2 Policemen Killed; Building, 11 Patrol and Other Cars Burnt; Arms Looted as Unknown Gunmen Storm Ubakala | #IgbereTV
At least two policemen have lost their lives and their rifles carted away from Apumiri Ubakala Police Station in Umuahia, Abia State in the early hours of Monday following a Deadly attack by Unknown gunmen, IgbereTV reports.
Locals informed IgbereTV correspondent that about five (5) police patrol vehicles were also burnt in addition to the building which was razed down by fire. Also, six exhibit vehicles, including Keke NAPEP and motorcycles were also burnt in the attack.
As at press time, the police is yet to release official statement on the incident.
