Singer D’banj has announced the signing of Tanzanian artiste Feza Kessy to his outfit DB records, Igbere TV reports.
The 40-year-old made the announcement on Friday via Instagram.
“I present to you @fezakessy; FIRST LADY of @dbrecordsofficial,” he wrote, adding she would release a new song.
Confirming the update, Feza Kessy also announced on her Instagram page that DB records was her new family.
“To my friends, family and ninjas across Africa and the world, meet my new family @dbrecordsofficial @iambangalee,” she wrote.
Feza was runner-up in the 2005 Miss Tanzania beauty contest.
She also contested the 2013 Big Brother Africa reality TV show along with Nigeria’s Beverly Osu, Melvin Oduah and 23 others.
Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh was once signed to D’banj’s record label. She released songs like ‘Oti Ya’, ‘It’s Ova’, ‘Hi’, ‘Suger Rush’ and ‘Ekebe’.
The actress said in an Instagram post last month that she would not forgive those who told her she could sing.
