With the now frequent attacks on security formations in the South East is not good for Nigeria or the South East.
The popular suspicion is that this is being carried out by IPOB or affiliate.
If that is so, it is even worse.
Igbo social believe is that “Tomorrow will always be better” when igbos become suicidal to the point of attacking military formations. It means in simple terms, nsogbu di.
Unfortunately, Igbo governors have lost the initiative. They are being seen as selfish stooges who stand for only their personal interests and not igbo interests.
The Nigerian goverment has done all possible to radicalize an otherwise merely irritant group.
Truth be told, at the time of proscription, IPOB was orderly and never a terrorist organization.
Nigerian goverment has gone further to impose death and hardship on her people.
Nobody is even talking about the number of unarmed Igbos killed under the pretense of being IPOB members or even talking about the number of presumed IPOB members in thousands dumped in our prisons on spurious charges. I saw the events at Oyigbo. We all saw the number of girls arrested and taken all the way to Abuja and we heard their harrowing tales.
The way forward. All groups attacking military formations MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY!
Nigerian state must review all presumed cases of IPOB members in our prisons.
NIGERIA MUST SIT DOWN AND TALK! THIS COUNTRY AS IT IS, IS NOT WORKING FOR ANYBODY.
This time for diplomacy and not strong hand tactics!
