Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has received Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Igbere TV reports.
Mr Fani-Kayode revealed that he received the lawmaker representing Abia-North Senatorial District for a dinner at his home on Tuesday evening.
In a post across social media platforms on Tuesday, Fani-Kayode said he had a “wonderful time” and “some very fruitful discussions” with Kalu who he claimed has been his friend for over 30 years.
He wrote; “I had the honor and privilege of receiving Senator Orji Uzor Kanu in my home for dinner last night. We had a wonderful time and some very fruitful discussions about our country.
“Orji and I have been friends and brothers for over 30 years and it is always my pleasure to see him and host him in my home.”
