President Muhammadu Buhari has completed the 2.2km Oweto-Loko bridge which was started in 2011 by the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
According to the minister of works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, who spoke to IgbereTV correspondent, the bridge will help reduce travel time from the East to Abuja by 6 hours and support the flow of farm produce from the North to the South.
Last year, N6bn Sukuk fund was approved for the completion of the 74km link road from Loko and construction is ongoing.
