The governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, last night imposed a six p.m. to six a.m. curfew in most parts of Orlu zone over the violent clash that has engulfed the area between IPOB-funded the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and the Nigerian Security outfits comprising the army and the police.
The affected LGAs include Nkwerre, Isu, Nwangele, Njaba, Oru East, Oru West, Orsu, Orlu, Ideato North and Ideato South.
The curfew came on the heels of the heavy gun battle in the area between the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and the Nigerian Security outfits.
