Former NAHCON Chairman, Bello Isa Bayero, Is Dead

Alhaji Bello Isa Bayero, a former National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has died at the age of 82.

A family source who spoke to Igbere TV on condition of anonymity said that the prominent Kano politician died in the state on Thursday at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.

Confirming the passage of Bayero, president Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, prayed to God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

“Just read a sad news about the death of Alhaji Bello Isa Bayero, a prominent politician in Kano and a truly Buharist. He was a former Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

“May Allah forgive all his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus,” he wrote.

A statement issued by Alhaji Mahmoud Adnan Audi said the funeral prayer of the former Kano state Chairman of defunct National Republican Congress, will be buried on Friday after Juma’at prayer at the Emir’s palace, Kofar Kwaru by 2.00 PM.
