Two friends were on Saturday, burnt to death in a ghastly accident along Katsina-Dutsinma road, IgbereTV reports.
The accident occurred at about 3pm on Saturday afternoon, December 5, when their Toyota Camry crashed and burst into flames.
Two of the friends have been identified as Dr. Sadiq Yahaya Zakka, a medical doctor who recently graduated from a university in China and was preparing for his mandatory National Youth Service, and Auwal Shehu Danfaranshi.

A friend of the victims, Serdeeq said one of the occupants of the vehicle identified as Fahad survived and is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
Late Dr. Zakka’s cousin, Balarabe Siba Danlami, who confirmed the incident said he was travelling with his friends to Dutsinma to visit his sister when the accident happened.
Balarabe wrote on Facebook:
“INNALILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHIR RAJI’UN I lost my cousin brother in person of Dr. Sadeeq Yahaya Zakka as the result of a fatal accident while heading to Dutsinma from Katsina purposely to visit his biological sister. He is to be buried at Dantakum cemetery by 10:00. May Allah forgive all his shortcomings and make jannat his final abode, ameen.”

Auwal Shehu Danfaranshi’s elder brother, Abubakar Shehu wrote on Facebook:
“Innallillahi wa inna’ilaihirraji’un i was sad to announce the death of my younger brother (Auwal Shehu Danfaranshi) today 05/12/2020 may your gentle soul rest in jannatul firdaus,Amin.The burial prayer will be tomorrow 06/12/2020 insha Allah at mutuary General Hospital katsina by 10:00am. You are out of our sight not out of our mind.We love u but Allah loves you more.”
