Gunmen Open Fire On Former Lawmaker's Brother And Others Along Kaduna-Zaria Road (Photos)

Gunmen attacked motorists at Kwanar Tsintsiya axis of Kaduna-Zaria Road in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday November 29, IgbereTV reports.

One of the injured travellers is Alhaji Kabir Muhammmad, the brother of Hon. Muhammad Abubakar Mamadi, former Member Federal House of Representatives Igabi Federal Constituency. He is currently hospitalized at 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna.

Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the reports in a statement on Monday, said troops of 4 Battalion Nigerian Army overpowered the armed bandits, killing one while several escaped with bullet wounds.
