Wife of Olugbenga Ale the chief of staff to Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has been abducted, police have said.
It was gathered that Mrs Ale was taken into hostage alongside her driver and one other person along Ondo-Akure Expressway on Thursday night.
Ondo police spokesman Tee-Leo Ikoro confirmed the incident on Friday.
The incident comes in the wake of the killing of the Olufon of Ifon Oba Israel Adeusi.
