A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Emure-Ekiti, Ekiti State has been delivered of a baby girl, the state spokesperson Rose Onoja said on Monday.
The young mother whose name was not given is one of the 653 NYSC members deployed in Ekiti as part of the 2020 Batch B Stream 1A.
Onoja in a statement said the new mother had to be rushed to the clinic at the camp soon after her registration as she was going into labour.
From the clinic, she was taken to the General Hospital, Emure where she was delivered of the baby.
The spokesperson said the mother and baby are in good condition.
