Reno Omokri has stated that people who refuse to give money to their relatives are not always heartless but are rather wise, IgbereTV reports.
Reno wrote on his Instagram handle:
“Relatives who refuse to give you money when you ask are not always haters. Many are just wise. They saw your expensive phone and know that your problem isn’t money, but priorities. Why should they give to you, when you invest your seed money on frivolities. The sense of entitlement in Africa is beyond absurd. Your relations can come to your house and see your son driving a car and harbour hatred for you. In their mind, they are thinking ‘look at that small boy with a car and he can’t give me money’. Alamjiri is not just a Northern Nigerian mentality!”
