An ex-governor of the old Kaduna State Balarabe Musa has passed on aged 84, Igbere TV reports.
Musa founded the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) where he was elected governor in the Second Republic in 1979.
Senator Shehu Sani, a member of the PRP, announced Musa’s death on Wednesday.
“Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his souls and grant him Aljanna firdausi. Amin,” he tweeted.
The ex-governor exited from active politics in 2018.
