General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye has announced that the annual fast of the church would commence on November 1.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Adeboye urged his members to either fast for 30 days or do the marathon fast for 14 days.
He wrote: “I hereby announce that the annual RCCG Fast will be starting on the 1st of November, 2020 and will be happening throughout the month of November.
“You can either do the normal fast (30 days) or the marathon fast (14 days). The prayer guide will be shared daily. God bless you!”
With thousands of branches around the world, Adeboye boasts of a large Christian followership.
The cleric recently called for the restructuring of Nigeria’s federal system and endorsed the #EndSARS campaign against police brutality.
