Afro-fusion singer Burna Boy on Friday said he had been traumatised since the October 20 shooting of #EndSARS protesters by men in military uniform at Lekki toll gate, Lagos.
In a tweet, he wrote: “I HAVE NOT SLEPT since 20/10/2020. I close my eyes and all I see is Lekki toll gate.
“I’ve seen a lot of Violence and death in my Life but this is the one that has traumatized me.”
Burna Boy’s statement followed a broadcast by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday which failed to address worries about the shooting.
The singer had opened a funding platform for supporting victims of police brutality.
