Unidentified men have burnt down Apapa Iganmu Police Station in Orile-Iganmu Local Government Area of Lagos.
The hoodlums set fire on the police station around 9:45 am on Tuesday, an eyewitness told the news media.
It is believed that hoodlums have since hijacked the #EndSARS protest against police brutality.
It was gathered that policemen opened fire at the hoodlums before they set the police station ablaze.
Two persons died in the incident, spokesperson of the Apapa-Iganmu Local Government Area Ayo Michael told PUNCH.
Hoodlums on Monday destroyed three police facilities in Benin, Edo State capital, forcing the government to declare a 24-hour curfew.
