“The Level Of Deprivation Is Unbearable” — Alex Ikwechegh Declares Support For #EndSARS

A prominent Business man and philanthropist in Abia State, Alex Mascot Ikwechegh, have declared his support for protesting Nigerian youths.

Igbere TV reports that the youths have been on the streets for over 10 days to call for an end to police brutality and operations of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the Nigeria Police Force.

Mr Ikwechegh, in a statement on Monday made available to Igbere TV said “the Nigerian political class has in no way availed the average Nigerian youth with any form of opportunity to strive and succeed in his endeavours.”

Expressing his pain over Nigeria’s current economic, the Philanthropist said that political machinery does not in any shape or form, protect the average Nigerian.

The statement read; “Intuitively, the world has glimpsed the true character, tenacity, class and intellectualism of the average Nigerian youth, considering how these troubling times have been tastefully approached.

“Qualities that have been subdued & encumbered for years by the political oligarchs of this country, to the extent of having the audacity to label us lazy.

“Today, it is increasingly visible why young Nigerians excel astronomically when they leave the shores of this country.

“The Nigerian political class has in no way availed the average Nigerian youth with any form of opportunity to strive and succeed in his endeavours. The level of deprivation is overwhelmingly unbearable.

“Let’s be clear, Nigeria’s current economic and political machinery does not in any shape or form, protect the average Nigerian. Why our failed leaders still believe this is about SARS remains puzzling to me, and yet further cements our resolve that they lack the basic intellect to lead a country as sensitively complex as NIGERIA.

“THIS IS WHY WE MATCH.”
