Waka singer Salawa Abeni on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the new Oniru of Iruland Oba AbdulWasiu Lawal.
The 59-year-old ‘Beware Medley’ singer shared a picture of the Oniru and herself on her Instagram page saying, “A courtesy visit to the new Oniru. Oba Gbolahan Lawal.”
Oba Lawal ascended the Oniru throne nearly a year after the passing of Oba Idowu Oniru on September 19, 2019.
In June, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu presented the staff of office to Oba Lawal as the 15th Oniru of Iruland.
He was coronated on September 6.
