Runtown Vows To Go Ahead With #EndSARS Protest

Pop artiste Runtown has said he is going ahead with his protest against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) scheduled for Thursday.

Born Douglas Agu, Runtown tweeted on Tuesday saying, “THURSDAY IS THURSDAY!!” urging the general public to join him.

The 31-year-old had on Sunday said via his Twitter page, “This has gone long enough and now we MUST take action! I’ll be leading a protest to #ENDSARS on Thursday, October 8th 2020.”

The protest is to begin at 10 am from Lekki Phase 1 Toll Gate in Lagos.

His insistence on continuing with the protest came after another singer Naira Marley called off a protest after the police assured that complaints about SARS are being treated accordingly.
