The Nigerian military forces have barricaded the home of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB.
IGBERE TV had reported that traders in Ebonyi, Abia, Imo, Enugu, and Anambra States observed the sit-at-home order.
However, in a latest development, IGBERE TV correspondent in Afaraukwu hometown of Nnamdi Kanu reports that the military forces in Thursday afternoon stormed Kanu’s Hometown.
As at the time of filing this report, details of their arrival remain sketchy but a top IPOB member revealed to our reporter that the military forces do not want gathering of IPOB Members in the area.
IGBERE TV recalls that Nnamdi Kanu had earlier said that all states in Biafraland complied with the sit-at-home order given by him.
Kanu, in a statement made available to IGBERE TV by Emma Powerful, the groups Media and Publicity, said the compliance of this order is to showcase our readiness for the speedy coming of Biafra freedom and independence.
