The 2020 edition of Africa’s number one online media awards, IGBERE TV Leadership Excellence Awards, has been slated to hold on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the prestigious Sheraton Hotel and Towers Abuja.
This was made known in a statement released to journalists, on Friday, September 11, by the Executive Director of IGBERE TV, Emeh James Anyalekwa, after a meeting of the event’s organising committee in Abuja.
The statement said the LOC has concluded booking arrangement with the management of Sheraton Hotel for Thursday December 10, noting that preparations for the epoch making event is currently on top gear.
Anyalekwa said the 2020 edition was originally planned to hold virtually due to the realities of the global COVID-19 pandemic, but the plan was changed during the last meeting, in line with the current improvements in COVID-19 situation in Nigeria.
He however noted that the event would be held in compliance with the NCDC and World Health Organization guidelines and protocols on COVID-19.
The prestigious Igbere TV Awards recognises and honours the outstanding impacts of leaders across both the public and private sectors in Nigeria.
The Award also applauds excellence, achievements, performance, humanitarian activities and philanthropic gestures.
