Suspected thugs numbering about 100 on Monday morning laid siege to the Ondo State House of Assembly, causing panic around the area.
The thugs parked their vehicles along the road leading to the complex and attempted to gain entrance into the complex.
It was gathered that policemen prevented them from entering into the assembly.
The presence of the men is believed to be connected with the disagreement between members of the assembly over impeachment moves against Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi.
