Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has appealed to the Director General of Nigeria Television Authority, Mr. Yakubu Ibn Mohammed, to energise the NTA Channel 6, Aba, Abia State, so as to be sending reports of events in Abia State, where so much are happening daily.
In a letter seen by IGBERE TV, addressed to the Director General of NTA, signed by Dr. Iboko Imo Iboko, the Special Adviser To The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, on Strategy and Planning, said it was observed that very little reports are carried from Abia State, where so much news worthy events are taking place constantly.
The letter said that there are many interested listeners and viewers of Abia State affairs all over the world who are now a little bit disappointed that NTA Channel 6, Aba, does not seem to be submitting much news to the national network.
The Special Adviser To Governor Ikpeazu, then hoped that the NTA DG will oblige Abia State by empowering NTA Channel 6, Aba, to be submitting reports of the numerous events taking place in Abia State so as to satisfy the yearnings of many listeners and viewers all over the world.
