AfDB: Ikpeazu Hails Adesina, Says His Re-election Sign Of Renewed Impetus For African Economy

 

The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has has congratulated the newly re-elected President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina.

The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has has congratulated the newly re-elected President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina. Recall that Adesina on Thursday secured 100 percent votes that returned him to office for a fresh term of five years in the Africa’s Premier Financial Institution, In congratulatory message on Friday signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka, the governor said, “Your reelection signals greater hope and renewed impetus for the African economy and a pride to our country, Nigeria”.

“For us in Abia State”, the Governor continued, “your reelection is very heartwarming and is a clear sign that our economic partnership with the Bank towards the development of our State will be further accelerated for the benefit of our people”. Governor Ikpeazu on behalf of the Government and People of Abia State wished Dr Adesina a very successful and impactful second tenure.
