The Attah of Igala and president of Kogi State Traditional Council of Chiefs Michael Ameh Oboni II has been reported dead.
The palace is yet to confirm or refute the story.
Igbere TV gathered that the monarch passed on on Thursday morning at Nisa Premier Hospital in Abuja.
He was said to have been taken to the hospital three days ago following an undisclosed illness.
