Stop Wasting Your Time, P-Square Not Coming Back – Peter Okoye

Peter Okoye, one half of the defunct P-Square, has insisted the duo is not coming back together, saying “everyone has moved on.”

The 38-year-old stated this in response to a misleading caption on a video posted by PMNews on Twitter early Tuesday morning.

In the video, Peter is seen apologising to fans for the misunderstanding with his twin brother Paul and taking responsibility for their breakup as a musical unit.

“Peter Okoye announces the return of P-Square,” the online newspaper captioned the video.

Commenting on the video, Peter wrote: “Stop wasting your (time) and deceiving people! That was 2015. Change is constant. Everyone has moved on and nothing last forever!”

The man who now performs solo as Mr P added the hashtag #ForeverMrP.

P-Square rose to fame in 2001 after they won the Grab Da Mic talent show sponsored by Benson & Hedges.

That was achieved under the guidance of recently deceased entertainment promoter Bayo Odusami, popularly known as Howie T.

The twins later made their older brother Jude Okoye manager, leading eventually to creative and personal differences.

P-Square had a series of breakup and makeup before they eventually parted ways in 2017 after a physical altercation in the office of their lawyer Festus Keyamo.
