First Lady of Kaduna State Hadiza El-Rufai is celebrating her 35th wedding anniversary.
She wrote in a tweet on Monday that the governor Nasir El-Rufai has been a good husband since they wedded 35 years ago and that she would love him forever.
“On this day (17 August) 35 years ago, the LOML and I married each other. It’s been quite a ride. Alhamdulillah. Happy anniversary @elrufai.
“You’ve been a good husband and I’ll love you forever,” wrote Mrs El-Rufai.
The first lady had once said although she was married to the governor, she was not part of the government.
Mr El-Rufai was yet to celebrate his wedding anniversary on social media at the time of filing this report.
The duo got married on August 17, 1985. Their marriage is blessed with children and grandchildren.
