Kate Henshaw Reacts To Claim That Celebrities Are Paid To Say There Is COVID-19

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has reacted to a critic’s comment insinuating celebrities are paid to make people believe coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is real in Nigeria.

The 49-year-old had on Sunday disclosed she got tested for the disease, a day after her colleague Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde disclosed she tested positive for COVID-19.

Few hours after her announcement, Kate got a response on Instagram which claimed celebrities have been paid to make people believe coronavirus is real in the country.

The movie star expressed outrage on Twitter over the comment, writing: “Some1 now commented on my IG saying ‘all these celebrities that have been paid to say there is Covid, God will judge you’. If I land am better curse now shay they will say Kate has started again inside blogs. I just blocked the person and moved on. COVID IS REAL!!”

Kate Henshaw had earlier disclosed she took the coronavirus test, a procedure required before movie production starts.

She is now expecting the result of the test.
