The family of the late Senator Buruji Kashamu has said he will be laid to rest on Sunday.
Kashamu’s media adviser Austin Oniyokor stated this in a release on Saturday also posted on Facebook.
The Ogun-East senator will be buried at his Ijebu-Igbo residence, the family said.
“The Shodipe Kashamu family of Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, has announced the death of the patriarch of the family, Senator Buruji Kashamu.
“Kashamu, 62, died on Saturday at a private hospital in Lagos, after a brief illness.
“His remains will be interred by 12 noon, Sunday, 9th August 2020, at his Ijebu-Igbo country home in accordance with Islamic rites,” the statement read.
