The Spokesperson of Centre for Citizens with Disabilities Comarde Samuel Ekeoma, has lauded the philanthropic disposition of Prof Gregory Ibe.
Speaking while receiving a delegation from Prof Gregory Ibe Foundation Foundation(PGIF) who came to deliver some palliatives to the centre, Comrade Ekeoma appreciated the generosity of the group describing the gesture as “first of it’s kind”.
According to him,” We want to specially appreciate Prof Gregory Ibe for his magnanimity in caring for the welfare of the less privileged members of society and people living with disability, especially during this period of the COVID-19 pandemic.Our gratitude is heightened by the fact that this is the first group that has come to visit us in this centre with donations since the outbreak of the coronavirus disease”.
While lamenting the unfortunate neglect and abandonment of the physically challenged members of the society, Comrade Ekeoma enjoined other well to do people to emulate the laudable example of Prof Ibe.
IGBERE TV reports that in continuation of the second phase of the Prof Gregory Ibe Foundation COVID-19 palliatives distribution exercise,many tubers,bags and cartons of food items were successfully delivered to many charity homes, including St. Vincent the Paul Centre for the Mentally and Physically Challenged, Umuahia, Special Education Center for the Blind, Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia, Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy Generalate, Ahiaeke, Umuahia, Daughter of Zion, Motherless Babies Home, Aba, and Uzuakoli Motherless Babies Home.
