Senator Dino Melaye has lost a member of his staff and has described his feeling over the incident as “shattered, devastated and broken”.
The former Kogi West lawmaker announced the loss on Wednesday via social media.
“One of my most reliable, dedicated, honest and loyal staff is gone. Death why!!! Not Ezekiel!!! Not Kaura!!! I’m shattered, devastated and broken. Oh! What a loss. My Kaura is gone,” he wrote.
Melaye last recorded a huge loss in May 2019 when his mother Comfort Melaye died at age 70.
She was buried about two months later in a Bible grave at Elder J. E. Melaye’s residence in Kogi State.
