Ekiti state Governor, Kayode Fayemi tests negative for COVID-19

Following 11 days in isolation center, the Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi has tested negative for the coronavirus, IgbereTV reports.

The Governor made this known via his official Twitter handle as he appreciated God as well as his family and medical team.

He, however, called for continue fight against the pandemic.

Fayemi said, “After 11 days in isolation, I received news that my CoviD 19 repeat test came back negative. My sincere gratitude goes to God Almighty, my family, my medical team and all well wishers for the prayers and solidarity. We must continue to do all we can to tackle the pandemic.”
