Unknown gunmen have reportedly abducted Pa Chilaka father of Henry Chilaka, a Commissioner in Abia State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (ASOPADEC).
Igbere TV learnt that the victim, said to be a leader in Ugwuati community in Ukwa West Local Government Area of the state, was abducted around 10pm on Tuesday.
According to report The Nation monitored by IGBERE TV, the gunmen are yet to contact the victim’s family reports.
Abia police spokesman Geoffrey Ogbonna said when contacted that the police had not been informed about the incident.
According to the newspaper, a military source confirmed the abduction but regretted the lack of cooperation from the family.
