EFCC Arrests Three Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Edo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Benin Zonal Office, have arrested three suspected internet fraudsters.

In a statement made available to Igbere TV, the anti-graft agency said the suspects were arrested following intelligence by the Commission.

The names of the suspects were given as, David Aguinede, Itua Benjamin and Daniel Oviasojie.

β€œThey were arrested in their hide-out in Ekpoma, Edo State,” the statement said.

β€œItems recovered from them at the point of arrest include a Mercedes-Benz GLK 350, laptop computers and mobile Phones.

β€œThe suspects have made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” added EFCC.
