A teacher in a public school in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State slumped and died after learning of her husband’s positive test for coronavirus.

Confirming the incident Wednesday, a neighbour disclosed that the victim died last Monday and has been deposited in a morgue adding that the children have also been placed on self-isolation.
The neighbor added: “We were at home when we heard screams from their compound. Upon our enquiry, we were told that she slumped and was confirmed dead after receiving news of her husband testing positive to COVID-19.”
Officials of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) are said to have begun tracing those the deceased and her husband may have come in contact with.
