93 persons from Abia State have discharged from the state isolation centre in Amachara Specialist, Umuahia after recovering from COVID-19, Igbere TV reports.
This was made known by the Abia state Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu,in a statement made available to IGBERE TV on Tuesday.
Igbere TV gathered that more patients of COVID-19 who have been successfully treated of the virus, would be discharged this week if their expected negative results from the NCDC laboratory are out.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Abia State currently has 232 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 3 deaths recorded so far.
