Spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Ikenga Ugochinyere, has been released from detention.
Mr Ugochinyere paid a visit to Senator Dino Melaye on Monday after his release.
The CUPP spokesman was arrested after the House of Representatives, led by Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, directed the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to arrest Ugochinyere over the allegation he made against the House involving $10 million bribe.
Ugochinyere had alleged that the House collected the bribe to hurriedly deliberate upon and pass the Infectious Disease Bill pending before it.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was among those who called for Ugochinyere’s release.
