Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, have welcomed Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Wike, who had on June 14 hosted Obaseki in Port Harcourt, simply wrote on Twitter: “Welcome to the @OfficialPDPNig.”
Igbere TV recall that the Rivers Governor, Wike, during a press briefing with reporters on Monday, June 15, stated he would be a happy should his Edo counterpart, Godwin Obaseki, joins the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Obaseki joined the PDP on Friday after dumping the All Progressives Congress (APC) three days earlier.
