A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has dismissed the fundamental human right suit filed by the deposed emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi, to stop the probe of the alleged N2.2 billion land scam levelled against him, Igbere TV reports.
Justice Lewis Allagoa, in his ruling on Monday, dismissed the suit and gave the nod for the investigation of former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Sanusi had filed the suit against Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, Kano Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission, the Chairman of the Commission and Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Kano State.
