Enugu Govt. In Action, Brings Innovation To Curtail Traffic Gridlock (Photos)

The newly inaugurated Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority (ECTDA), under the leadership of Dr. Josef Umunnakwe Onoh, has infused new ideals and brought innovations to bear in curtailing Enugu capital of traffic gridlock, Igbere TV reports.

This is beyond its major regulatory mandate of enforcing compliance with appropriate standards in the development of the Enugu capital territory.

The body, through its recent programmes, has no doubt enhanced the serene ambience of the state capital to offer the full complements of urban triangle – a place to live, work and play, in line with urban renewal drive of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration.

Road users who encounter traffic jam at the Ebeano Tunnel roundabout by Garden Avenue, Enugu and at Dhamijah junction, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu, will heave a sigh of relief to know that the ECTDA is bringing sustainable solutions to the challenges.

The development enforcement authority is constructing a service lane for motorists negotiating towards Ebeano tunnel road from Garden Avenue to exit with ease.

The ECTDA has completed the expansion of Dhamijah road, Trans-Ekulu with drainage, mesh demarcation and a dedicated one-lane entry to the area, for ease of traffic congestion, among other remarkable interventions.
