An unidentified middle-aged woman caused panic at the Banex Bridge, Abuja, on Friday when she collapsed and vomited blood.
According to IgbereTV reports, the woman who was said to have been healthy without any sign of illness before the incident suddenly became unconscious and fell to the ground, with blood gushing out of her mouth, thereby causing panic among passers-by.
Some people at the scene of the incident decided not to come close to her for fear of possibly getting infected with COVID-19, as the cause of her illness was still not known.
But she was taken to the hospital for treatment by some police personnel and Vehicle Inspection Officers who later arrived at the scene.
