Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has congratulated the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II, on the birth of his son.
Tweeting on Monday night, the governor prayed for more blessings in the royal family.
He wrote: “It is with a delighted heart that I congratulate His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin, and the Royal Palace of the Benin Kingdom on the new addition to the Benin Royal family.
“I pray for more blessings, long life and prosperity in the Royal family. Oba Gha To Kpere, Ise!!!”
The Benin Traditional Council (BTC), which announced the birth on behalf of the monarch, also congratulated him and Queen Iyayota of Benin Kingdom.
