Actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Celebrates 25 Years In Entertainment Industry

Actress and social activist, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, is celebrating 25 years in the Nigerian movie industry.

The mother of four reminded fans how far she has come in separate posts of Instagram.

“It just occurred to me that this year is my 25th year in entertainment,” she wrote in a post on Sunday.

With eyes on the future, the 42-year-old added in another post that “the things coming are way bigger than the things past.”

Omotola got her first acting role in Reginald Ebere’s Venom of Justice in 1995.

She landed her breakthrough role a year later in Mortal Inheritance directed by Andy Amenechi.

Named one of the most influential people in the world in TIME 100 list of 2013, Omo Sexy, as she is fondly called, has appeared in over 300 movies and released one music album.

She was named best actress in a supporting role at the maiden edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in 2005.
