IgbereTV reports that a Enugu State senator, Fidelis C. Okoro who represented Enugu North senatorial zone in the 5th and 6th senate slumped and died in the midday of Sunday, 17th May, 2020.
According to information made available to IgbereTV through a family source who craved for anonymity, Senator Okoro was not sick, but just slumped and died.
The Iheagu, Nru in Nsukka local government born politician was elected on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) before joining the Peoples Democratic Party in 2001. He served as senate committee chairman on Industries and also member, Police Affairs, Agriculture and Niger Delta committees.
