Nigeria has recorded 176 new infections of the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19), Igbere TV reports.
This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in a tweet late Saturday night.
The latest figure brings the total number of confirmed cases in the West African country to 5,621.
The NCDC also said five new patients have been confirmed dead to the virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 176.
The agency also put the number of recovered persons in the country to 1,472.
